MSNBC has finally fired Keith Oblemann for donating to three Democratic candidates after calling out FOX for donating to Republicans. He said FOX was unethical because they donate to FOX candidates.
MSNBC announced yesterday that Keith Oblemann one of the two most sexist men on TV has been suspended without pay. The news set off my facebook page with both Conservatives and Hillary supporters who remember the sexism of the Primary of 08 and how he attacked Sarah Palin in the same offensive ways.
This news makes me happy because Keith is considered to be the Worst Person in the World to a lot of people like me who watched as he attacked Hillary Clinton because she dared to run for President when he wanted Obama. He insulted her and made fun of her because he does not want a woman to be President. He is quick to call out Conservatives for sexism but in 08 he proved he was far more sexist then any of the Conservatives he calls out but no one is buying his story anymore.

Two years ago today a lot of PUMAs including myself were upset because of the injustice that we witnessed during the 2008 Primary between Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama. Two years ago we watched as this man became the 44th President. We PUMAS were boycotting Democrats unless they were loyal to Hillary. We worked our butts off for John McCain or Cynthia McKinley when they lost we felt like we had been slapped in the face. It hurt us because during most of the year he and the entire Democrat-Yes Democrat-Party told us Hillary people that we were no longer wanted in the new Democratic party but big mouth dummy Donna Brizzile.
Personally I don't hang out with people who don't want me around so I stopped hanging with the Democrats and switched to the Republicans. Not one Republican told me he didn't want my vote in fact they welcomed me with Open arms.
Now two years later and after the Dems suffered heavy losses they lost the house and only hold a small majority in the Senate the country sent our Congress and our President a strong message.
Will Barack Obama listen to the American people and work with the GOP or will he just become a lame duck. Will he continue to tell the GOP to get to the back of the bus or will he welcome them with open arms? To soon to tell but if he wants a second term he better remember Tuesday or he and the entire Democrat Party have no hope of surviving. They need to silence Donna Brizzile who offends we PUMAs every time she opens her mouth. They have to prove themselves and get rid of that Health care law. I don't see them trying to do that even though it is Health care reform that ended the careers for a lot of Congressmen and women and Senators.
I hope Obama reaches out to the GOP for the sake of our Country.
I am still celebrating our victory two years in the making.

My Fight With Cancer

I haven't written for a while because I have been very ill. On April 22,2010 I was told they found something on my spleen and the doctor's believed it was cancer.
Suddenly I found myself in and out of the hospital. I found myself in and out of the hospital. The doctors weren't sure where the cancer was located so I underwent months of tests and got more and more ill.
Finally I found a doctor who decided my cancer was in my spleen where they found the lesions. On September 24 TH I had my spleen removed and with it my immune system.
Now I have to be careful with any illness including a cold or flu because now I have nothing to fight the germs.
I have a disease that may make the cancer attack other organs and must be followed but it may never strike again.
I may have this horrible disease but I cannot worry so much about rather or not the cancer will return but living the fullest life I can.
I am alive and I will continue to live.

What to Do With The Inner City? Lets Start With Listening

I am a Conservative Independent and as such I have the privilage of blogging with both the Democrats and Republicans. Both have good ideas with what to do to help the Inner City.
As most of my readers know I am not only from the inner city I remain here. So what is a ghetto girl going to do with all this advice.
Everyone in both parties say JOBS and EDUCATION and that sounds like a perfect solution but in reality its going to be very difficult to put those plans into effect until you understand what is going on here. Its going to be hard to study with bullets flying over your head. Jobs are also good, however, its going to be hard to convince a young person that working at McDonalds is better then selling crack on the block.
What we need to do is change the Mentality in the hood. We need to figure out a way to stop killing each other over stupid things. We get into these beefs with each other and want to start killing. So Person A kills Person B then Person B's people kills Person A and a vicious and violent cycle continues. We are doing what the people who flooded our communities with drugs wanted in the first place.
We have to repeal the Rockerfeller law and get those men doing life sentences for selling crack out of prison. We need to make sure that the sentence fits the crime. There is no way selling Crack should get you more time then murder.
We also have to get rid of the Mentility that says "Education is for White people." First of all our history proves that this is false. Slaves risked their lives to learn to read and write. Former slaves worked all day in the fields then came home and attended school. Sounds like those slaves and former slaves thought education was important.
Frankly until the people who live here get rid of the mentiliy that is killing us then well intentions on both sides of the Ailse are not going to help.
We have overcome a lot of hardships but now the biggest threat to the hood is ourselves.

March is Women's History Month

March is Women's History month. This is not as well known as Black History Month and most schools do not celebrate Woman's History Month.
Last year when I was a Moderator on Hillary's Village I worked on a Woman's History thread and was amazed about a lot of different things that women have done throughout history. I want to know why this is not celebrated in schools. Are girl children supposed to continue to think they haven't paid any part of history. They just were the mothers, daughters, and sisters of men.
It is time for schools to celebrate Women's History month. March is special for me because I now have two beautiful granddaughters who were born in March.
I have a brand new granddaughter born on the first day of Spring in 2010 and another one who turned one. I am watching my children become adults. I am celebrating not only the history of women but also the future.

Black History Month Part II Reconstruction, Jim Crow, and The Great Migration. Moving from Slavery to the Ghettos

The civil war ended slavery Andrew Johnson was lenient on the Confederate States which made the Radical Republicans angry. They passed the 14TH admendment giving African Americans American Citizenship and forced the Confederate South to ratify these laws or be refused back into the Union. The 15TH admendment gave Universal male sufferage and black men could now vote in the South. There were a lot of black men elected to office during this time there were blacks in both the House of Representatives and the Senate.

The Southern Whites were losing control and used terriorism against African Americans. Once Restoration ended and the Federal Government left the south several states enacted "black codes" which kept black people from enjoying their new found freedom and keeping them as a source of labor. It is during this period of time that lynching of black people was on the rise. Black men had the right to vote but if they did they took the chance of being lynched.

Jim Crow was born out of the black code laws and everything in public was segregrated based on race. Public fountains and rest rooms had two seperate signs one saying "Whites only" and "Colored only" African American men were lynched for any number of reasons. They were also beaten and castrated. "Reckless eyeballing" or looking at a white woman could get you killed in the South.

The North also had Jim Crow but it wasn't legal but it still existed. Lynchings also happened in the North although not as much and states like PA close to the Mason/Dixon line had the majority of lynchings in the North.

Slaves became share croppers who were often cheated.

African Americans began to leave the South often in the middle of the night and began moving to the North. This began the move from Southern Plantations to Northern Ghettos.

A family would move North and establish a life then go back home and bring more people out of the south into the ghetto.

This frightened the Southern Whites who saw their source of cheap labor disappering to the North The KKK would often try to frighten people into remaining by whipping people or lynching a couple of people who tried to escape. This lead to the middle of the night migration.

This 100 year period was one of the darkest periods of African American history. There were more black men, women, and children killed during this period then during slavery. During slavery black people were valuable property the Masters would have killed a poor white person for killing a slave and get away with it.

Once slaves were free and no longer valuable their lives became less important and the result was wide spread lynchings and abuse.

During this period of time the Harlem Renisence took place African American art like books, music, and poetry were all the rage. Whites wanted to read books written by African Americans. They wanted to sit in places like the Cotton club and listen to black music.

I made a lot of wrong turns in my life I took the wrong path when I was young. When you are young and in the ghetto selling drugs/gang banging/ and life on the streets is an attractive alternative. Most of us saw selling crack as a way to break out of the poverty we all lived in.

I joined a gang at the age of 11 although we didn't have any "official street gangs" thats what we were. I sold drugs and faught. I have been shot and stabbed. I bare the scars of life on the street.

I remained in the game until I was 27 years old. I wanted to leave the game but was trapped.

Then came January 26,1992 This year the Superbowl fell on that day and 60 minutes was interviewing a Democrat trying to win his Primary. I never heard of them and frankly the Democrats ticked me off when they passed the Rockerfeller. I thought to myself he was just another phoney azz Liberal with a weak wife. I watched anyway. I was amazed and blown away by Hillary and I knew like I knew my name that she would be President.

I started following her and the press and Ken Starr was so mean to her that it would make me angry. I started thinking that if Hillary could go through all that abuse and remain strong I could quit selling drugs and work full time. I did just that. I went straight. I remember the days when I thought I wouldn't live to see 21 then 25 and now I am turning 46 years old. I never expected to see my six children grow to adulthood and here I am watching them become parents.
I, often, wonder what would have happened to me if I had not watched 60 minutes that superbowl Sunday. I wonder if I would be writting this right now.
For all the talk in 2008 I never heard the truth out of the media. I knew I wasn't the only one that she inspired more people then just myself.
I have one message for Secretary Clinton I am so thankful for all you have done and how much you have inspired me. I hope I can inspire you to run for President again. I am willing to help you in whatever way I can. Thanks for the Inspiration and giving this girl from the hood something to look up to.

From The Middle Passage to President Obama A Celebration of African American Culture

February is black history month. African American history is holds a lot of pain but also a lot of joy. African Americans came to this country on slave ships. They were kidnapped or sold by their own people to the European slave buyers. The captives had to endure a long ride chained hand to toe in the bowels of the ships. This horrid trip is referred to as the Middle Passage because the second part of the three part passage involved the slave trade and transporting the captives to the new world. Hundreds of Africans were kidnapped and brought to the Americas to work as slaves.

The slaves in the United States were robbed of their African culture so the new slaves created their own culture incoprating small parts of their African hertiage and because they were watched closely by whites African Americans needed a way to communicate with each other so an unique language was formed.

Slaves were forced to work long hours and were often starved and beaten.

The North banned slavery soon after the American revolution but the South was more dependent on slavery then the North.

On that Plantation though several things began to happen the people robbed of all their individual African traits formed their own culture and foods.

Slaves were often given the worst food by bad Masters yet they were able to turn lemons into lemonade. They would cook after working in the fields all day and often times cooking became a social event among slave women.

Most African Americans will tell you about their extended family even though they are not related. This comes from the fact that our ansecestors were bought and sold and often families were split up so Aunts, Grandparents, strangers often raised the children left behind. It is not uncommon for someone to step in and help raise someone I have done that several times myself. I am sure if I need it I will have someone step in.

Slavery was devastating and one causality was marriage. The Masters decided the sex lives of the slaves and they were breeded. Women were raped by any white man who wanted them and that created lots of different colors. African Americans range in color from "light bright and damn near white" to black and everything in between. The custom in America has always been hat one drop of black blood makes you black as a result you now see many colors in one family personally this is one of my favorite things about our culture.

African American music has become the main influence on the majority of American music and has even influenced European music. That also comes from Africa but also slavery. Music was used by the slaves in every area of their lives from work songs and church songs. It was also used as a way to communicate with each other with out whites knowing this. Harriet Tubman often used songs as a way to let people know she was in town. She lead hundreds North and then on to Canada. She went on to serve in the Union army as a scout.

African American history is American history.

The media has been talking about Barack Obama transending race since he entered the frey. They assume that this is what most black people want. Why would we want to forget we are black we are proud to be black and we are proud of our culture. Chris Matthews apperently doesn't understand that we don't want to become white people even for an hour.

Chris Matthews has been saying really stupid things for a long time and instead of apologizing and moving on he decides that it really isn't even that important.

After Barack's horrible SOTU speech, which I thought was horrible and lousy, Chris, Tingles , Matthews said "I forgot he was black for an hour" This left me and my family stunned. "What's that supposed to mean we asked. "What's wrong with being black?"

Chris Matthews refused to take this back even though he offended a lot of people he still thinks that is the way to heal race relations in this country for black people to just turn white.

I grew up in a very pro black household. We were proud of being black and we celebrated our culture and community. We had each other when everyone else turned against us.

I remember being a little girl and not allowed to swim in public pools.

My grandmother remembers people being lynched for "reckless eyeballing" That means a black man looking at a white woman not necessary for lust it was a death sentence.

Chris Matthews perhaps you should just put in white people when you want to talk to black people. Try saying things like "I forgot he was a white guy." I think you would understand just how offensive that remark was.

Hillary is enjoying a high approval ratings that is much higher then her boss because frankly she is wonderful and he sucks but I digress.

First of all there is no such thing as Post Racial. There is always going to be racial things and racism. No one would have ever said this about any politican "I forgot he was white tonight." On Tuesday a special election was held to fill the seat of Teddy Kennedy. A Democrat has held that seat for almost 50 years. Thanks to Obama and the Democrats in congress the seat now is red. What is the problem with Democrats who can't even hold on to the bluest of blue seats. The bluest state in the Country. Now the Dems are nervous. What will happen to NY who has two US Senators up for reelection. PA has Specter will he wish he had stayed a Republican. What about Boxer she is in big trouble. I expect Specter will keep his seat but few others will.
The Democrats are trying to save their behinds by rethinking health care something they weren't willing to do just a week ago. Why did Martha Coakley have to go down before the Democrats woke up and smelled the coffee?
The American people do not want the Congress to dictate what should go on. They are in office to represent what we want not force unpopular bills down our throats.
Will the Democrats do the right thing and perhaps save themselves are will they continue to make the wrong decision and force the American people to vote the bums out.
Frankly I want the checks and balances and I am always for having the White House in the hands of one party and the Congress in the hands of the other.
I think Obama is looking at 2012 and not liking his chances. I think he is going to save himself and veto this bill. He is actually in a damned if he does and damned if he doesn't scenero. Kristian Gillibrand voted for the health care plan that no one likes as did Barbara Boxer and every other Democratic Senator. Martha Coakley said she would support the health care plan despite saying she wouldn't in the Primary.
So my question is what is a PUMA to do?
Coakley hasn't voted for anything yet and its premature with her but her loss will cost the Democrats big.
Gillibrand is up for reelection and will more then likely face a Primary. I am hoping that Harold Ford takes her on and wins but if he doesn't take her on or if Obama and women's groups try to keep him on this PUMA is going to blog for the Republican rather its a male or female.
She voted for this disaster despite the fact that its not only unpopular in red states but also blue ones yet she sold her vote for some earmarks. She threw women under the bus and expects to just be allowed to continue serving. Sorry Kristian I tried to help you before and you thank me by passing this anti woman disaster.
I will also be supporting the Republicans against Boxer and any other woman who voted for this disaster.
I think its time that the PUMAs remember we formed saying Party Unity My Ass and we need to take on the Democratic party as it tries to force this horrible bill down our throats.

Kristian Gilibrand is up for election this year and one of the candidates who wish to primary her is Harold Ford. I hope he does run because Kristian did not stand up for women with her vote for health care reform. My guess is that someone bribed her perhaps with some earmarks for NY. She allows women to be thrown under the bus with this unpopular law.
I know a lot of women are going to be pissed off at me but like I told the African Americans who were pissed off at me in 2008 "Kiss My Ass" I will not be browbeaten to vote for one or the other I am African American and I am a woman. Its time both groups recognize that.
I would like Ford to take on Giliibrand because after December 2010 the one African American in the Senate will be gone.
Hillary Clinton already broke the ceiling for NY and now its time for the other ceiling to be broken. Its time to see if NY is ready to elect a black man to the Senate.
Kristian has proven over and over again that she will vote with Obama and the other Dems in congress despite the fact that she is supposed to be right of center.
This blog will never support any candidate who voted for this health care plan. Gilibrand did just this despite the fact that its very unpopular with everyone.
Liberals, conservatives, and moderates all agree on one thing this is a bad bill. Kristian cast her vote now its time to kick her to the curb.
The fact is that women have more representives in the Senate in African Americans do. Ford is just as qualified as Kristian is to become Senator.
I hope that this is a race free/ gender free fight and its clean but I fear the race or gender card if not both will be played.

Jan of this year this Country swore in the 44th President and the first African American to hold that position. I am not a supporter of BO but I am glad that ceiling was broken although I wish it was by someone other then Mr I Have to please everyone.

Hillary Rodham Clinton left the Senate and became SOS. She was one of the best choices as Obama is a Dove and Hillary a strong Hawk. We need Hawks to head both the State and Defense Departments because frankly we need to be able to frighten the bad guys out to destroy our country. Hillary is a very popular Secretary of State with poll numbers showing that the majority of Republicans approve of the job she is doing. Her approval ratings are a lot higher then those of her boss who is below 50 and heading into the low 40s range. Hillary has approval ratings in the upper 70s.

We have also had a few terriorist attacks involving Muslims. One man was an Army shrink who shot 23 people killing 13. He was taken down by a female Police officer and was in a coma.

On Christmas day another nut case decided he was going to blow up a plane in Detroit killing as many people as possible but the passengers twarted that flight.

Obama issued weak statements on both attacks but nothing that is going to help keep this sort of thing from happening again.

We had the balloon boy and his nutty parents and the Obama gate crashers. Rather you like Obama or not putting his life in danger should be treated as a serious crime even if their intention was only publicity. Here's something the media can do and that is stop giving these nut cases 15 minutes of fame and these knuckleheads will start using their brains.

Sarah Palin wrote a best selling book while Nancy Pelosi's book flopped. Sarah's numbers are as high as Obama's and she is no longer an elected official.

Chelsea Clinton announced her engagement and Hillary fell and broke her elbow. The press used that event to discuss how Obama was marginalizing Hillary more then likely just to keep that fued up and running. Who cares about facts in the media anymore when fiction is so much better. I wonder if these yahoo's in the media realize that a sitting President and his/her Secretary of State should be on the same side. Yes idiots in the media the President should have his/her SOS's back and she should have it. The media also plays with other non stories that pitted Hillary against Rice and Samantha Powers but Obama always took Clinton's side because after all why appoint someone to the State Department and refuse to listen to her. Well the Senate Democrats all 60 of them have voted on one of the most sexist peices of legistation in my lifetime. The Democrats who claim to be Pro life and most of them claim this nonsense have compromised their so called beliefs to cater to one Democrat by leaving abortion coverage up to the States which would basically get rid of abortion in red states.
I am disquested by the way use of abortion and mamagrams are being used by the party that is supposed to be pro women. I wonder why the use of viagra and prostate checks aren't being debated in the senate. I guess we should be glad that the Stupid Dummycrats haven't outlawed a woman's period.
I am fed up with a party that first of all allowed Hillary Clinton to be abused then participated in sexism against Sarah Palin. I am surprised that Barbara Boxer and Diane Feinstein two pro woman women would allow this travisty to take place.
Where are the angry voices of women? Why did not one female Democratic senator stand up for their sisters all over the country? Senator Snowe is the only female who decided not to vote for this bad peice of law.
Perhaps now women will stop voting for a party that has no respect for them. Perhaps now women will stand up and say to both parties that Neither party can take their votes for granted anymore.
This monstrostry will become law one day and this upsets me. It is my hope that people vote these Democrats out all of them. I plan to vote against either of my senators who voted for this as well as my Rep who voted for the equally stupid house version.

The past several weeks I have been watching and reading about how the Obots are falling out of love with Obama. They have begun the withdrawl from the kool aid they had been drinking since the Primaries.
Obama made a lot of promises to different groups of people even though his history of keeping promises have been horrible. Obama has always said whatever he needed to get elected or reelected. Obama ran to the left for the Primaries so that he can gain the liberal votes. It worked but the Liberals expected Universal Health care and a Single payer system that is not what they got. Hillary supporters knew this and tried to tell the liberals that they were making a mistake but Hillary was to much of a Hawk for the Liberals so they fell for the Peace and Love and Hope and Change dude and what did they get for that an increase in troops in Afghanistan. He promised he would close Gitmo Bay but that is unlikely. First of all he would be wrong to close that prison because where the hell else are you going to send them. Second of all he would never be elected to a second term if he did close that prison. Its like this the Peace and Love people are not the majority of people in this country most of the people do not want terriorists running around our country. They especially don't want them in NY.
So the Liberals are complaining because of the health care reform bill that isn't exactally health care reform. The young people are complaining because they bought into the whole peace and hope thing and now they find out that their man is nothing but a snake oil salesman.
Hillary supporters knew all of this. Obama sold women down the river even though NOW supported him and now they know that he is a Pig. Anyone who watched the Democratic Primary should know that Obama is a PIG and always has been. Hillary supporters knew this from the beginning but were called bitter racists because they shared this information with the Obots.
Now what are the Obots calling themselves for disagreeing with Obama are they racist? I would say perhaps the next time they have the urge to call someone racist for not agreeing with Obama that they have now become the racists. Perhaps they have learned a lesson.

I have been thinking a lot this week about Thanksgiving. This year I have a lot to be thankful for. I have had quite a year in 2009 a year that found me fighting two big ulititie Companies and the town I lived in to try to save my home. I didn't have either water or gas for most of last winter. I had to heat off just one room of my home to stay warm.
Thanks to the no water and no gas Child Protective Services moved me into a homeless shelter with my daughter. It was actually a nice shelter and we had our own rather large apartment but it still wasn't my home plus it was away from my family and my two young adults were stuck in the house. I was there a total of three weeks before I found a house that I can afford.
I still don't have all my stuff moved in yet and I am still waiting for them to deliver my furniture and the landlord still needs to fix some things but I have a home where I can keep my cats and its a large house. I also have gas and water lines inside my own home and not inside abondonded houses. I am thankful that my family is all together and I have a beautiful granddaughter. I am also expecting another granddaughter in March of 2010. I have a lot to be thankful for and I will never take things like gas and water for granted again.

On Wednesday, November 4, 2009 my 14 year old daughter was jumped by 13 kids out of the 13 kids only one of them was a female the others were all males between the ages of 14 and 15. They knocked her down and tore her clothes but she wasn't sexually assaulted.
Shawntaya was picked on because she is an A student who doesn't go in for the "name brands". She doesn't want to wear "Jordan's" because she doesn't think they are comfortable.
I contacted the school and after two days of dealing with them I feel frustrated and aggravated.
They tried to say that Shawntaya was involved with a one on one fight even though my daughter was terrified when the school officials talked to her. She didn't want them to jump her again nor did she want to be labeled a snitch.
Boys on girls bullying is unusual but its not unheard of. I have had to teach my daughter the art of beating boys especially the ones that have no problems bullying girls. I taught her the trick of going after his family jewels and then uppercutting them in the face. Its a shame that you have to worry about your kids fighting girls and now I have to worry about the boys as well.
I am glad Shawntaya worries more about her grades then she does the latest fashion and I am glad my daughter has her own mind and doesn't concern herself with foolishness.
Its time for boys to reminded that hitting girls doesn't make you tough it makes you look like a punk. Its time for girls to be taught to defend themselves from boys who at the age of 14 are a lot stronger then girls.

First of all bad things like this happen everywhere and they are no more likely to happen in poor neighborhoods then they are likely to happen in rich neighborhoods or middle class neighborhoods. They are more likely to happen on college campuses where very few poor people attend. This is just another example of passing the buck and blaming the victim.
People are blaming the victim because she was drinking or lived in a bad neighborhood neither of these offenses call for her being raped and frankly where she lives isn't even a crime.
The fact is that some street kids decided to rape a girl for either street cred or to join a street gang. They would have done anything to become a member even murder. Anyone willing to murder to join a gang doesn't care about raping a teenage girl.
The police have arrested six men involved with the rape as suspects. I hope they are prosecuted t0 the full extent of the law.

I have been hearing a lot about racism lately and most of what I hear is not racism but disagreement with the first African American President but to Liberals it must be racism. The Liberals have done this very thing to Republicans for years and always drove me nuts. Conservatives don't have black people because they want limited Government. Liberals aren't free of racism because they believe the government should take care of everyone. The fact that Liberals are likely to assume that black people and poor people are the same thing which is frankly racist and personally I don't care what the race is of the people who spout this kind of garbage. I am also watching white people being called racist simply for disagreeing or calling Barack out on his sexism. Guess what Liberals that statement rather you are black or white is very racist. Calling white people racist simply because they are white means you are racist.
Lets now talk about real racism the racism I must encounter in the real world. There are the minor racism like not being able to hail a cab because of my skin color. There is other racism that hurts like police brutality which is more likely to happen to a young black man then any other group in this country. How about the teachers who are responsible for teaching our children regardless of color who tell young black kids especially if they are from the ghetto that they are not going to suceed or like my son's 6th grade teacher who assumed because he was a black male that he would rape her. He was 12 years old at the time.
I desegretated the local school district when I was a Senior in Highschool. It was covered on all the major networks and one of CNN's first major stories. We were barred from the school by angry white faces screaming "nigger" and other racist remarks. They started rocking the bus and damn near tipped us over. The National Guard had to escort us into the school where the Principal decided that we needed to be humiliated further by pointing out that we were late and giving us all detention he knew those whites were trying to kill us but he didn't give a damn.
I have spent my lifetime fighting against racism and to see people especially white Liberals and black politicians playing the race card inappropriately it makes me cringe. Its not going to be those white Liberals or those middle class politicians nor even the black middle class that is going to have to deal with real racism it is going to be the poor people who suffer and then no one will ever hear our cries because these idiots and racists want to play a card that is not race related but Policies related and that will be a real crime.
Racism exists but disagreeing with a black man is just that disagreeing with a black man. I am calling both black and white liberals out of this sort of thing because its wrong its divisive and its racist.

Sometimes I feel like a Motherless Child is an old song my mother and father used to sing. That's how I am feeling today. I feel like for the past year and a half I have been fighting the left and the right not only on behalf of HRC but also on behalf of myself.

First of all we had to fight the Obots both during the Primary and the General Election where we were called names and mistreated.

The PUMA movement started and the Right Wing of the party started agreeing with Republicans and some on the left think we sold out. I did not sell out. I disagree with the Republicans when I think they are wrong and I disagree with the Democrats when I think they are wrong that is what most people are supposed to do.

Then Hillary was confirmed as SOS and here comes the attacks from the Republicans some of which were sexist or just old information that was gone through with a fine tooth comb years ago about the Clinton's but to these folks the 50 million dollars spent in the 90s on the Whitewater case that yeilded no wrong doing is not enough for these folks. Disagree with Hillary but do so on recent events not the same old unproven mess of Whitewater.

Now its the health care reform and Kennedy's death that I am fighting over. I am sorry but I am not broken up over the fact that some old letch died while in life he got away with murder and covered up a rape.
I am a PUMA who supported Democrats for most of my life not because I believed in what they said but because my family always voted Democrat. The only Democrats who ever really excited me were the Clintons.

I was angry at the Clinton people who decided to vote for Obama but that was months ago. Now I am just wondering why we are having a hard time with plan C. We were supposed to get back together after the general election but it hasn't happened yet but it will happen.

Today the United States lost one of its most liberal and long serving Senators. Senator Edward Kennedy passed away today at the age of 77.
I didn't always agree with Ted Kennedy and I am not very happy that he called Hillary Clinton a racist on the Senate floor but I do offer my condolences to his family and to the people of Massachusetts. He was the brother of President John F. Kennedy and Senator Bobby Kennedy. Teddy Kennedy lost a bitter Primary battle against Jimmy Carter in 1980.
He was the third longest Senator in history.
I didn't always agree with Kennedy but he was most definitely a force to be reckoned with.

Today is the anniversary of the passage of the Right to Vote for women. Woman's Equality day is set aside each year to pay homage to all the great women who fought for Suffrage for women. There are people on the internet, that for whatever reason like drama. They want to destroy people and forums for no other reason then they have no lives. Perhaps they insult people to make themselves feel more important.
These people are best ignored but sometimes we have to speak up against these cyber bullies. There is a forum out there who wants to take down my forum and they are insulting not only myself but the members of our forum. They are now calling us "bots" and you know what that's ok I have been called a "bot" before and frankly it doesn't bother me at all. I know I am not an Obnoxious Obama supporter I am not even an Obama supporter. They call me this because I am black and proud or they call me this because they are just mean, vicious people. Call me what you want I know who and what I am so insult me whenever you please I just don't care. I draw the line when you stoop to blackmail and insults to the other people who are on my board. I draw the line when you steal other people's screen names and pass yourself off as that person. You didn't know the real person was going to find the board. I draw the line when forums post private messages for everyone to read in a public forum insulting two women who didn't deserve this. I draw the line at people threatening to take down my forum when in fact there is plenty of room for two.
There is a member of my forum who runs http://www.hillaryvillagers.net she is a good member and I am a member of hers. I prefer to build up her site rather then tear her site down. Our forums have the same goals which is far more important then the fact that we are two different forums. I am actually glad to have gotten to know the owner of this forum and the only war I am interested in is boosting memberships of both forums.
I frankly have decided that I don't care what other forums are doing or why a bunch of people are so mean and negative that they want to destroy people and their work but please know this you take down one of my forums then I will create five more to replace it. You cross the line with me or hack into my website I will have the FBI on your butts so fast your heads spin. Oh and never underestimate the power of the hood because we have a way of finding anyone that rivals the FBI without the legal restraints the FBI have so you want to mess with me your rot in federal Prison. One more thing get out of your mama's basement and start living a life you would be surprised how much better it is then to hide behind a computer keyboard and ruin people's lives. Oh and by the way people are starting to face charges for this kind of behavior.

Hillary Supporters seem like they are dividing into two different camps and this is breaking my heart. I have come to know and love so many women since Hillary started her campaign. We saw each other through good times and bad times. We laughed together and we cried together. We didn't care that some of us were Democrats, Republicans, and Independents. We came together despite the fact that we were right wing as well as left wing.
I am very right wing and I am a die hard Hillary supporter yet recently I was attacked on facebook because I disagreed with the left I was told that I must support Hillary because she is a girl and all types of things. First of all they need to brush up on their Hillary information because their agruments were incorrect and second of all Hillary's foriegn Policy, hers, not Obama's is very conservative so there are lots of reasons for a right wing chick to like Hillary.
I am sick of being called a Republican I am as offended by that as I am when people call me a Democrat. I am an Independent.
There is also a rumor that HV was started by Republicans when that is not true. HV was started by a left wing Liberal and a moderate Democrat. Yes there was one Republican administrator but she is as loyal to Hillary Clinton as anyone else is and as for the other Admin she is an Independent. She is a right wing independent like I am.
I was never forced to support Gov. Palin and although I like the Governor a lot I am not sold on voting for her yet. Gov. Palin unlike Hillary Clinton has to show me what she has. Hillary did that a long time ago.
Obots are offensive creatures and yes people who voted for Obama were kept off that board because frankly they have more places online then people who oppose him do.
So do the Liberals want us to go away then want us to come back to Hillary it doesn't work that way. We are going to have to find a way to get along.
I don't think Hillary would want us to break up in fact you all know she wants us to stay together. Its OK to disagree but the name calling on both sides must stop.
I wonder if the Left wing doesn't want anyone right wing to vote for Hillary I wonder if they know they are hurting her. She wouldn't like that.
We can always debate without insulting people. That's a good way to heal the bridges that are cracking under the pressure.
I do not want Obama in my face 24-7 and I certainly am not going to support this administration except for Hillary.
Obama is where the first split happened. Some of us voted for him and some of us didn't. We seperated then because we had to but after the election people who supported Obama during the General were called Obots and sent away. That began to change for some of us because for me in order to get our girl elected then we are going to have to depend on each other.
It is time for both the Right and the Left to get it together and start working out our problems.
Do we want Hillary in the White House if we don't we will continue to blame the Republicans when funny thing is it was the Democrats who stole this election.
I am also tired of sticking up for my friend who is a Republican. I m tired of this because she doesn't deserve the insults she has had to endure. She is a die hard Hillary supporter and she was insulted on another friend's blog. I wonder if the person who insulted her bothered to find out how much time, effort, and work this person put in for our girl. What would happen if she decided to leave Hillary and go to Sarah since after all she would still be voting her party. Her one vote could decide that Hillary becomes President or not. Remember that in our goal to get Hillary elected there are other people besides Democrats that Hillary needs to win any election.
We may find a common ground if we meet in a place that is Hillary's only. No Barack and No Sarah. I created one I wonder if the Lefties will join or will I just be called another Republican.
PUMAs must start accepting Hillary supporters who voted party and the Left wing of the party must start accepting the right wing supporters and stop insulting them.
I love all you guys but I must stand up and say enough is enough. We have to get along because it is Hillary who will suffer.
HV wasn't brought down by the Republicans either it was brought down by the Obama administration or his supporters. We were infilitrated during the Primary. Its not the Right wing who did this but Obama loving, women hating Ultra Left Liberals.

Homeboy Industries a job training program that works with gang members who want to go straight is facing fiancial difficulties due to the economy.
This saddens me because they are a fantastic program that saved the lives of thousands of young people in LA. They give the former gang bangers jobs, training , and college as well as removing gang tattoos.
Rev. Greg Boyle the priest who runs this program has walked through gun fire to quell gang violence and who has gotten rival gang members to sit down and talk. He is now facing fiancial loss and is trying to prevent his doors from closing. He is also suffering from cancer but he seems more concerned about Homeboy Industries then he does about whatever pain the cancer is causing him. He is such a good man and Homeboy Industries is a wonderful place. I hope that perhaps President Bill Clinton and the Clinton foundation will get involved and step in and save this good organization.
It is difficult enough trying to get out of a gang and now there may be one less program to make that transition a lot smoother. A former gang member undergoes a lot of pressure to sell drugs and make big money as well as being with what may be their only family. What is going to happen to them? Without jobs and training I fear a lot of the homies will just go back to banging.
What about the young man who is looking for jobs and has gang tatoos. One of the most valuable services this organization offers is the removal of tatoos. Without that program so many young people will not be hired who is going to hire someone who has gang tatoos.

Hillary heads to Liberia today to show support for Africa's only female leader. Ellen Johnson Sirleaf who faces calls to step down.

Africa's first female head of state has strong support overseas but Liberia's Truth and Reconciliation Commission recently recommended that she be barred from Politics for 30 years and since she is 70 that basicially means forever. They want her banned for alleged involvement in the Country's civil wars between 1989 and 2003.

Clinton made women's rights a large part of her visit to Africa speaking out against rape and women being used as weapons of war in the Congo. She also comforted victims of rape.

In an interview in Nigeria Hillary said "No Country could reach a full stage of development without full participation of women.

If African Women decided to stop working tommorrow, the whole continent would shut down. People would not eat. Crops wouldn't get planted and harvested from a moral perspective we're in the 21st Century all human beings no matter what religion or ideology you reference have the right to reach their God given potiential and to many women in too many parts of Africa are not being fully developed." Hillary is still standing up for women and girls all over the world.

Hillary went to Congo today and spoke out against the attrocrities committed against women in that Country. She addressed Rape being used as a weapon of war. She called on the DRC and the UN to stop using women as weapons of war.
I am glad to see finally someone addressing this issue. She has always stood up for Women and children. She showed today that she is a real leader.
Rape is a terrible crime and one of the most violent crimes it is yet sentences for this crime or way to short and in some Countries around the world Sentences are not given.
I am proud of the way Hillary Clinton stood up for women.

This is one of the best articles on gang violence that I have read in a long time. It was refreshing to read the truth because most of the stuff you read about Street Gangs are made up.
I joined a gang at the age of 11 because I wanted to make sure that no one would ever hurt me again. I remained a gangbanger because I loved the lifestyle. I "aged" out of the criminal activities choosing instead to get a "legitimate" job and raising a family. I became what is known in the hood as an OG or (Original Gangsta). I left that lifestyle because it is very hard to continue to sell crack cocaine on the streets not because of law enforcement but that is always an issue but because when you stand on that corner selling crack a little piece of your soul dies.
We do not need to lock everyone up but there are things that we can do. We can first of all join together and OVERTURN THE ROCKERFELLER LAW This law puts young men in prison sometimes for life just for selling crack on the streets.
This law is the reason this girl from the hood rarely votes for a Party. The Democrats are the party responsible for millions of poor men going to prison everyday. Putting a fraud in the White House will never make up for the Rockerfeller especially for me.

Hillary Clinton visited this housing projects in South Africa 12 years ago then visited the Projects a year later with her husband. Hillary arrived there yesterday and met with the women. She remembered this projects all these years. She has real compassion. I do not know why the media always say she is divisive she is very compassionate and she listens to what people have to say. She didn't just take a few pictures and leave she rolled up her sleeves and planted marigolds.
I lived in Public Housing twice in my life and life there isn't always easy. Those flowers more then likely meant a lot to the people who live there.

Washington Post recently wrote a peice telling Hillary Clinton she needs a b**ch beer. First of all I have had the pleasure of meeting Secretary Clinton several times during her Presidential campaign. She is a lot of things she is warm, funny, and engaging. She has a way of making you feel like you are the most important person in the world even if you are just a girl from the hood like I am. She is a lot of things but b**ch isn't one of them.

Two words in American English that are extemely vile and should never be mentioned by the media is N***er and the other one is b**ch both are equally vile and mean. We have come a long way in regards to the N-word it is no longer acceptable to say that word without causing the person who uttered that word many problems and that is how it should be.

Sadly it is not the same way with the B-Word. African American women as well as other minorities have some sort of protection but for white women it is perfectally acceptable to refer to white women as white b**ches. I am saying this as an African American woman I find that to be both racist and sexist. It is not ok to say that white women are b**ches. Its not acceptable to call any woman these names and it certainly isn't OK to add a race and say its OK.

I am not accepting this sort of behavior anymore. Stop referring to all women as the Bword.

Hillary spent the entire hour on Meet the Press not 15 minutes or 30 minutes but the entire hour. I have never seen a sitting Secretary of State have more then an half hour on Meet the Press and Hillary got the entire hour. Its because she is now and will always be a major player.
Obama's poll numbers are in and they continue to fall.
Hillary Clinton answered a question where she didn't rule out a Presidential run she didn't say she would. She cannot say that she is planning on running for President because besides making the Obots heads explode it is much to soon and she needs to be able to do her job so she was honest when she said she had enough on her plate she is smart and she also knows the pit bulls, and I don't intend to insult the pit bulls) in the media would get a jump start on trying to derail her possibly putting this Country at risk although I really don't think dirt bags like Chris Matthews and Keith O care about that.
Obama is making a mess out of health care and he is falling in the polls. He will continue to do so because he is an empty suit who just ran for President so he can retire and spend the rest of his life going on vacation.
